STRENGTHENING PASTORS & MINISTRY LEADERS

PASTORS' PRAYER SUMMIT 2019

Experiencing God Together
Through Psalm 23

Monday, January 28, 2019 – Wednesday, January 30, 2019
Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center
3300 River Road
Mount Bethel, PA 18343

The Pastors’ Prayer Summit (PPS) is an annual COPGNY event with the purpose of strengthening pastors and ministry leaders in their personal spiritual formation, so that they can be revived and renewed to carry out the call on their lives to serve God, their family, church, and ministries.

Putting the Move in Movement Day

MDNYC 2018

More than 350 diverse leaders gathered together for a day of meaningful collaboration and dynamic celebration at MDNYC 2018.

The gathering at the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom served as a catalyst for tangible transformation across this great city as we have made plans to impact the 10 most vulnerable zip codes in the Metro New York area. Compelling speakers like Jon Tyson, Claude Alexander, Gail Batum and many others emphasized the

importance of seeing the big picture and bringing together communities to find proactive solutions for the spiritual and social issues facing our society. The night of prayer and unity was also a highlight, as Fred Hammond led us in worship as we stood together and prayed for breakthrough.

TRANSFORM & IMPACT

10 Zip Codes Project

At this year’s MDNYC, we launched a bold initiative to accelerate gospel movement within the ten most vulnerable zip codes across Metro New York.

Over the next five years, we will be working alongside Cinnamon Network U.S. to foster new collaborations among local church, community, civic, and marketplace leaders, starting in Washington Heights and East New York. Over the coming years we will expand into two new neighborhoods each year.

Our focus will be to make an impact on:

  1. Increasing High School graduation rates
  2. Improving remedial math and English scores for elementary students
  3. Intervening to mitigate the cycle of teen pregnancies, and
  4. Interrupting the revolving door of juveniles into detention facilities

By collecting data and focusing our approach towards four big areas of critical need facing children in these communities, we believe our collaborative work today can create generational kingdom impact for tomorrow.

Indonesia is 99% Muslim with a massive part of the population not having access to the gospel in their heart language.

After a recent trip to Jakarta and hearing Pastor Jeffrey Rachmat from Jakarta Praise Community Church share of the need to eradicate Bible poverty in the country, we have launched a journey to translate the gospel of John into a new Indonesian language.
